Our eco-responsible approach : Organic Wine

Organic Agriculture

Château Angueiroun is committed to an environmental approach. Indeed, it has been certified “Organic Farming” since 2020, ensuring the production of organic wine that respects the environment.

This prestigious label is, first and foremost, a voluntary approach. It guarantees that the agricultural practices implemented across the entire estate preserve ecosystems and minimize environmental pressures (soil, water, biodiversity, etc.). As a result, it allows for the production of an organic wine that is respectful of nature.

Organic certification, achieved through a long-term commitment, is underpinned by four pillars:

  • biodiversity preservation (insects, trees, hedges, grass strips, flowers, etc.);
  • plant health strategy;
  • fertilisation management;
  • irrigation management.

Wine artists

Creating great wines is, above all, a team effort. Throughout the year, our winemakers, true artists of wine, work with passion from the vineyard to the winery. Every step of the process, from harvest to fermentation, and finally to bottling, marks the rhythm of a year of creation. These essential steps prepare the new vintages, but it is during the blending that the true art of Château Angueiroun takes shape. Indeed, this is where the magic happens: the combination of various grape varieties, the blending of aromas, and the creation of wines with strong personalities.

Take, for example, the Prestige La Londe rosé. Its pale pink color embodies the very essence of the Angueiroun terroir, a true signature in a bottle. On the other hand, Enkhelis stands out as an exceptional cuvée, produced in very limited quantities. This remarkable wine seduces with its sensuality and incomparable finesse, making each sip a unique moment.

Under the direction of Éric Dumon, the Angueiroun family works hand in hand with Matthieu Foulquier-Gazagnes, the estate manager, as well as Thomas Bonnet and the Belkhiri family, whose expertise is passed down from father to son. Meanwhile, the administrative and commercial team, including Corinne Guiol, Marine Ville, and Jean-Philippe Lamothe, ambassador and commercial director of the estate, provides essential support for this beautiful adventure.

All of these individuals share a deep love for this magical terroir and are committed to producing exceptional wines. Their work is guided by respect for viticultural traditions while remaining open to new winemaking technologies, in order to always offer wines of impeccable quality.

Annual awards

Every year, Château Angueiroun enters several of its wines into France’s leading wine competitions: the Concours Général Agricole in Paris, the Concours des Grands Vins de France in Mâcon, the Concours des Vignerons Indépendant and the Concours des Vins de Provence.

Every year, several medals are added to an already extensive list of achievements. It was no different in 2023, with no fewer than 9 gold, silver and bronze medals awarded to the Réserve Rosé, Réserve White and Prestige La Londe Red.
